Conditioning botanicals and lasting softness
Thalen body lotions combine shea butter with jojoba and sweet almond oils to condition and replenish the skin. Hydroxyethyl urea supports moisture retention, while niacinamide, Kakadu plum and vitamin E complete a formula designed around softness, hydration and a smooth, radiant-looking finish.

How quickly does the body lotion absorb?
It spreads easily and settles within a short massage, leaving a satin finish rather than a film. You can dress soon after without tackiness.
Will the lotion feel heavy or greasy?
The texture is deliberately light — a creamy ivory lotion built on jojoba and sweet almond oils, with shea butter for richness. It conditions without the weight of a body butter.
Can I use Thalen body lotion every day?
Yes. Both lotions are made for daily use, morning or evening, and are dermatologically tested for all skin types. They suit application straight after bathing, as the last step.
How were the lotions tested?
Our Body Lotions were assessed in vivo, on healthy volunteers with sensitive skin, under an ethics-committee-approved protocol at Mascot Spincontrol clinical research centres as per IS 4011:2018. The recorded outcome: clinically tested, dermatologically tested, non-irritant to sensitive skin.
Should it be applied to damp or dry skin?
Either works well. Applying to slightly damp skin after bathing helps the lotion spread further and supports moisture retention, while application to dry skin gives a slightly richer, more concentrated feel. Choose whichever suits your routine.
Are the fragrances used in the body lotions safe?
Yes. Each Thalen product is formulated with IFRA certified fragrances sourced from the finest perfumeries in Europe. All Thalen products are clinically and dermatologically tested for all skin types including sensitive skin.
How noticeable is the fragrance?
The fragrance is designed to remain close to the skin — expressive during application, then settling into a soft, refined trace. It layers naturally with the without competing with a personal fragrance worn over it.
What is hydroxyethyl urea?
Hydroxyethyl urea is a clinically recommended moisture-binding humectant. In our lotions it is selected to support hydration and smoothness, helping the skin hold on to moisture so the soft, supple after-feel lasts comfortably between applications.
Are Thalen products vegan and cruelty free?
Yes. All Thalen products are vegan and cruelty-free, in line with the wider Thalen range. The formulas rely on botanical oils, plant-derived butters and considered actives without any animal-derived ingredients.
